ECC Registered Memory. This particular R515 server supports up to 12 x 3.5"
SAS/SATA/SSD Hot Plug Hard Drives. It also supports up to 2 x 2.5"
SAS/SATA/SSD Cabled Internal Hard Drives. The Refurbished Poweredge
R515 offers a great value and performance with a very reasonable price.

Nice Server
I was originally hunting for a Poweredge R510 12HDD Server because I prefer intel based servers. Was able to get the R515 12HDD server at at a lower cost and it seems to work well. The only difference is that it takes the AMD Opteron Processors. It works well as an AppAsure back up server.

I was able to replace 8 old PowerEdge 2850 servers with 1 PowerEdge R515 Server. The amount of storage that this machines supports is amazing!
