EXACTLY what I needed
This rack to tower chassis conversion kit was exactly what I needed. It's also hard to find. The kit I got included the plastic top place, 4 swivel feet, front panel fascia and all the screws needed. No instructions were included but mostly not needed for me. Installing the kit was mostly intuitive. First remove the rack ears, each held with 3 screws. Next remove the screw holding in the server faceplate (part with power switch and with USB ports) so it can slide out a bit. The faceplate is held onto its metal frame by 3 plastic tabs. A small flat screwdriver makes it easy to release them. one on each side and one underneath. Once off replace this with the one included in the kit that covers the space previously filled by the Rack ear. Then slide on the top plate. The left (facing from the front) has tabs that lock into the chassis. The right has 3 screw holes. Once in place use the 3 black screws to secure it in place. The feet are two plastic parts the are fastened to the bottom of the chassis with a single screw. The center portion (hub) of each foot has 3 plastic alignment pins which fit into matching holes on the chassis and the screw hole in the center. Use the remaining 4 metal color screws. That should be it. Your rack chassis is now a tower chassis. In my experience I didn't find the bottom tab on the plastic front panel and asked for help. Support was prompt and precise. Good support is important for me. Even if I rarely need to use it I feel more confident knowing it's there.
