The chip works
I got the well packaged chip in a reasonable time frame. I just installed the chip on my R730xd and turned it on in the bios. It reconfigured it and is working. I ordered (2) more for my other servers to allow me to upgrade the OS to Windows server 22. Which is very helpful since Dell has made their new servers annoyingly loud if you install 3rd party better hard drives then what they sell.
