Incredible Grapics Card
The nVidia Quadro FX4800 is a wonderful old graphics card that is perfect for our "fleet" of Dell Precision Workstation T5500s at a price that is quite affordable ($150). On a Windows 7 computer it provides a performance rating of 7.1 out of a possible 7.8 and has proven to be both durable and quiet. Its compatibility with our hardware is exceptional and it can even provide 3D support. No need to move to a more modern and costly graphics card here.

Works Well
This card works well for a 5+ year old Quadro Card. Make sure you have atleast a 600W Power Supply before ordering one.

CAD PROBLEMS IN PARADISE (CALIFORNIA)
SEEMS TO BE WORKING FINE, HAD TO GET A EXTERNAL POWER CABLE TO POWER THE CARD. AND SOME DISPLAY PORT TO HDMI ADAPTERS, WINDOWS 7 AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOADED THE DRIVER, STILL WORKING OUT SOME ISSUES BUT IM NOT SURE IF THESE CAUSED BY THE CARD. NVIDIA'S NTUNE, CRASHES MY MOTHERBOARD FOR SOME REASON, NOT SURE WHY. AND ON HEAVY GRAPHICS RENDERING MY AUTOCAD BENCHMARK TEST WILL NOT COMPLETE THE COMMAND AND HAVE TO EXIT CAD. BUT I CAN STILL MANIPULATE THE DWG
